Inside the Style Studio

September 11, 2008

Micha is one of the most talented and focused women I know. She is a name to remember and I am so glad to have met her and worked with her on projects. She has a great eye and creates jewelry (such as the large chain piece she is wearing above) that are absolute conversation starters. Here’s what she has to say about herself…

Verbal Pause: She laughs, which has to be my favorite pause, ever.

1) What qualities do you most value in a man?
Honesty, good sense of humor, style, an open mind and spontan[ity].

2) What qualities do you most value in a woman?
Honesty, [being] up for everything, energetic, they don’t primp too much.

3) What is your motto?
Battles are difficult but not impossible.

4) What is it you most dislike?
Phoniness and Uggs.

5) What city has your favorite style/describe?
Berlin, I love Berlin.

6) What do you most value in your friends?

That I can rely on them. They call when they say they will and do what they say they will.

7) Who or what is your fashion inspiration?
My Mom, she did all types of crafting. She is guilty—she is the one [who inspires me]. The more crazy, the better. I like to be different from the crowd.

8) How did you start working at your current occupation (in fashion)?
I started making necklaces for myself and then people liked them and so I started to make them to sell.
